Olio e Piú has invented the 24-hour traditional trattoria and enoteca in the West Village, where patrons can enjoy a taste of fine Italian dining at any hour of the day. Olio e Piú’s Head Chef Dominic actually uses recipes that have been in his family for generations. The open patio and big sidewalk laden with plants, flowers and pottery stays true to Olio e Piú ‘s desire to be one with nature. Additionally, the open doors/storefront with the open kitchen and wood burning oven allow customers to feel the magic of cooking, recreating the feeling of being in an old Toscano country house in Italy. As a cherry on the top, guests can actually see the pizzaioli prepare the 100-year old traditional pizza crust and sauce!
